Nigerians have expressed sadness over the arrest of 80 of their compatriots in the United States by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in an ongoing investigation related to fraud cases.

This medium had earlier reported that the US Attorney, Nick Hanna, made this known at a press conference on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.

He said a total of 80 suspects, “many of whom are from Nigeria”, have been arrested and charged to court with 57 more being hunted globally.

Hanna alleged that two Nigerians, Iro and Igbokwe were “essentially brokers” of fraudulent bank accounts by fielding requests for bank account information and laundering the money obtained from victims.

Reacting to the incident, a particular respondent said until every foreign country ban Nigerians from their country, the government would not find a solution to fraud and cybercrime.

Nigerians are ridiculous, 80 Nigerians were arrested in the U.S for what is considered largest crime of its kind in the U.S history & Nigerians are more concerned about tribe, saying the names listed are Igbo. Do you think the outside world give a fuck? You all are Nigerians ffs.
