- Neymar is set to leave PSG this summer with Barca being his preferred destination.
- Real Madrid are reportedly also interested.
- PSG have allegedly stopped selling Neymar jerseys at the club’s store.
It seems like Neymar transfer saga is finally nearing its end. UOL Esporte journalist Joao Henrique Marques has recently visited Paris Saint-Germain’s official store in Paris and, reportedly, you can’t find a jersey with Neymar’s name on the back there.
The video also shows that Kilyan Mbappe now seems to be the club’s main star with only a few images of Neymar still present.
The update follows a series of controversial events which also suggest that the 27-year-old is close to leaving Parc des Princes until the summer ends. According to recent reports, Barcelona have the best chances to land the forward, although Real Madrid are also closely following the situation.
First, club’s sporting director Leonardo Araujo confirmed that the Brazil international will miss the team’s opening match against Nimes because of advanced talks over his departure. However, the official didn’t reveal the club they involved in the negotiations.
The Parisian’s fans didn’t hesitate to express their opinion on the player through banners during the opening match. ‘Neymar, get lost’ was the most common one.
Another one is dedicated to Neymar’s most recent media and social interactions. The banner read: “Neymar – getting f***** by a prostitute doesn’t only happen at a remontada – remember?”

The Brazilian has mentioned several times that the famous 6-1 Champions League win at PSG back to his Barcelona days is one of his favourite moments in the football career. Definitely, the Parisians’ fans are less than happy with this controversial statement.
