Barcelona have picked Ilkay Gundogan as their plan B if they fail to sign Bernardo Silva, according to cadena SER.
The Blaugrana have been told they may have to cough up to €100m to get their hands on the Portuguese midfielder.
The fee being quoted for Silva is acrimonious, to say the least. However, Barca could find a cheaper landing pad in Gundogan.
Last season, Gundogan impressed for Man City, scoring 10 goals and claiming six assists in 43 games.
Gundogan is valued at €35m, as per Transfermarkt.
