Manchester United have offered Barcelona around €80m plus variables for Frenkie de Jong, reports Gerard Romero.
The player was also offered to Manchester City but the latter rejected the opportunity to sign him, preferring to go for Kalvin Phillips instead.

If the Dutchman leaves the club, Barca will be happy. If not, they will negotiate with him over a pay cut.

Earlier, it was said the player would be in favour of cutting his wages that are going to be increased this summer. He doesn’t plan to leave Barca as things stand, as per multiple reports.
