The Johan Cruyff disciple wants his Barca to play the Dutch way.
“We Dutchmen love to keep the ball and dominate, not run after it. I learned to play good football and want the same while managing as well. I feel ready for this job,” Ronald Koeman told the journalists during his presentation at Camp Nou.
“I have learned from many coaches as a player and I have experience as a coach. I think I am qualified to coach Barca. The connection between Barca and the Dutch exists.
“Today it is more complicated due to COVID-19 but football is to enjoy and without enjoying you do not get the most out of it. I have to be proud of each of the players and me as a coach also to be at this club.”
The Dutchman likes to play attacking football but is more versatile than our previous coaches. For example, he has criticized Quique Setien for his aimless possession, saying the important thing is to create chances.
