Koeman names one more reason why he was unable to succeed at Barca

“I was working with many injured players. Now Pedri is back in shape, and Ousmane Dembele too… You can see it all. Every coach needs time and patience from the board,” Ronald Koeman has told AD.

While Koeman’s words could make sense indeed, it’s worth a mention that Xavi’s arrival forced the club to make some important changes to the team’s medical staff. The situation with injured players seems better now, although there are still some players on the sidelines.

Besides, Xavi also had to work with some Barca B players during his early days as the manager – he succeeded at using them properly, though.
