Barrenetxea says that Messi is the best in history and that he can decide any game on his own.
The La Real forward hopes it won’t happen against his team in the Supercup, though.
“I think it’s a joke that they say Leo Messi is finished, it’s absurd. He is the best player of all time and he can decide a match at any time. Let’s hope that it won’t be on Wednesday [against us],” Real Sociedad’s forward Ander Barrenetxea has told Marca.

Messi has been getting back to his old self lately, recording four goals over the last two games. In total, the Argentine has managed 14 goals and six assists in 21 matches for Barcelona this term.

However, Leo might not be able to play against La Real in the Super Cup semi-final as he’s seemed to pick up an injury.
