Barcelona set date for Neymar's medicals if agreement is reached

  • Neymar could pass the tests already this Friday, on August 16.
  • This could happen just after the European Club Association’s assembly.
  • However, the Brazilian will certainly be unavailable for the Friday’s squad selection.

Barcelona have already planned medical tests for Neymar, Paris Unitedreport.

In case the agreement between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain is reached quickly, the Brazilian will return to Barca’s base already this Friday, August 16. This is the date when the Catalans will be present at the European Club Association’s assembly. Also, on this day Barcelona will play the opening La Liga fixture against Athletic Bilbao late in the evening.

What concerns Neymar, he would in any case by unavailable for Friday’s squad selection against Bilbao. He sufficiently lacks match fitness and will need to spend several days in training before he finally returns to the pitch.
