Depay has reportedly agreed lower his salary in his first season at Camp Nou.
- Barcelona and Memphis Depay have already reached an agreement over a contract which comes into effect next summer when he becomes a free agent, Mundo Deportivo report.
- However, the player is ready to put pressure on Lyon in order to sell him already in winter, as Barca need a forward after Ansu Fati’s unfortunate injury.
- It’s said that Depay’s salary in the first year of the contract is going to be lower than in the later years as the Catalans are struggling financially.
- Lyon have been requesting €30m for the forward but Blaugrana believe he could be available for around €5-6m considering that his contract expires this summer.
