Barcelona tried to sign Anthony Martial in January, the player has confirmed.
“Barcelona did speak with my agents in January, Juventus wanted to sign and they were pushing, it’s true, but my priority was Sevilla,” the Frenchman told Diario Sevilla.
It was reported that Barca wanted Martial on loan, however, the deal fell through as the Blaugrana pursued other targets.
Barcelona are now well-stocked in attack. Xavi could even have more options when Fati and Memphis return from injury.
