7 Barca players that could leave as free agents in summer: contract round-up

Ousmane Dembele

Barcelona are still discussing a new deal with Ousmane Dembele and his agent. According to the latest reports, the club and the player are too far apart on financial issues so it looks like he’s leaving.

Sergi Roberto

The midfielder is expected to sign a new contract this week. Barring a late twist, Sergi is staying at Camp Nou.

Luuk de Jong

The Dutch striker is on loan at Barca but the club has a non-mandatory buy option. It appears as if the Catalans are not planning to trigger this clause so he’ll return to Sevilla, although Luuk publicly said that he would be happy to continue with his role of an ‘impact sub’.

Dani Alves

Dani Alves would love to stay but the decision rests entirely with Xavi and the Barca hierarchy. They have not made the final call yet though it looks more likely that he’ll leave.

Ferran Jutgla

Barca can extend Ferran Jutgla’s contract for another season. And it looks like this is something they will do before either giving him a chance in pre-season or sending him on loan to get some game time.

Adama Traore

The forward is currently on loan until the end of June. Barcelona can buy Adama for €30m but they are reportedly not planning to do it.

Jandro Orellana

Orellana is another talented La Masia player who occassionally got called up to the first team after Xavi came. Barca can extend his contract by a further two years but we have not seen any reports on whether they would like to do it or not.
