Speaking to Bild, Robert Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi said: “For Robert, Bayern Munich is a thing of the past.
“Lewa has the opportunity to join the club he has always dreamed of [Barcelona]. Why deprive him of this opportunity? Robert wants to leave this summer, neither he nor I care about the money.
“The truth is that for several months he has not been respected by the club’s leaders. Bayern have not only lost Lewa as a player but also as a person.
“I actually had no intention of speaking in public. I have great respect for a historic club like Bayern, but I couldn’t help myself but react to the club’s latest statements.”
Lewandowski has a year left on his Bayern contract but the Bundesliga giants are refusing to let the 34-year-old leave the club this summer.
The striker is pushing to join Barcelona when the transfer window reopens after winning every possible trophy during his eight years at the Allianz Arena.
