Operatives of the Jigawa State Police Command yesterday, arrested 14 suspected kidnappers, including two alleged killers of its personnel in recent Kwallam community cases in Taura Council and alleged kidnappers of a son-in-law to a popular Jigawa Government contractor, Haruna Maifata.

Briefing journalists at the Force Headquarters in Dutse, the State’s Police Commissioner, Aliyu Sale Tafida said the arrest was as a result of an intelligence-led raid code-named ‘Operation flush out’, which was carried out in Sule- Tankarkar Council comprising officers and men from Departments of Police Mobile Force, Criminal Investigations Department, State Intelligence Bureau and others.

According to Tafida, during the operation, three criminal hideouts were raised in Dakin Maizuwo, Dan Gwanki and Yandamo villages all in Sule- Tankarkar Councils.
