It would be recalled that the announcement made by Npower scheme on their official Twitter handle about when March stipend payment will commence was quoted from Tribuneonlineng as seen below:

Beneficiaries of the scheme are being paid ₦30,000 monthly by the Federal Government.
Dubbed as the largest post-tertiary employment programme in Africa, the Muhammadu Buhari government sees the scheme as one of its major achievements.
Beneficiaries do not need high-wire connections as the screening process was largely transparent and efficient.
Due to the deficiency in the number of teaching staff in public schools, many of the beneficiaries were deployed to schools in order to complement the efforts of the staff on the ground.
Afriupdate understands that these beneficiaries’ (also addressed as volunteers) pay have always been irregular and the fate of the pioneer batch is uncertain, with constant talks of exit plan.
Check out some reactions from the aggrieved beneficiaries below:
When u see official Npower handle quoting newspaper regarding Npower, u don't need to be told that there is problem cos they normally provide first hand info and not through any newspaper

So, volunteers can't just get their stipends peaceful at the end of the month without all the media stunt?— Henry Chuks (@chukwunyere2k2) April 14, 2020
A friend just got his 30k alert and it remains only 2k after payment of debts, why can’t you start preparing for next payment now so they can get payment as at when due and helpful. Today is 16th, use your post for positive change and stop playing with people’s life.
