The Federal Government N-Power scheme on Tuesday asked volunteers to disregard reports about the scheme taking new applications, Afriupdate reports.
This online news medium reports that the youth empowerment scheme made this known in a tweet while responding to beneficiaries’ query on how to apply for the program.

The scheme also advised interested Nigerian youths to stay tuned to their verified social media channels for updates and urged applicants to stop inputting their details in SCAM websites.
The N-Power programme has 500,000 volunteers who are engaged as teachers, health workers and agricultural extension officers, among other fields. They are deployed to various locations throughout the country offering their services to Nigerians. Each participant is paid a stipend of N30, 000 monthly (approximately 83 US Dollars).
