- Pjanic signed for Barca in the summer.
- He could’ve ended up at Bayern and Inter at the earlier stages of his career.
- Even though the midfielder is now at ‘the best club in the world’ he’s not yet satisfied unless he wins a trophy with the Catalans.
“I had the chance to join Bayern Munich and Inter, but it didn’t feel like the right time,” Miralem Pjanic said in an interview with Canal Plus.
“I could’ve gone to Juventus two years before, but they already had Pogba, Vidal and Pirlo and I would’ve had a hard time playing. Now I’m at Barcelona and for me, that is a challenge.

The 30-year-old’s move from Juve cost the Catalans €60m. He’s endured a rather mixed start to his life at Camp Nou, mainly due to contracting Covid-19 in the summer.
