Antoine got the chance to start after being benched for two straight games.
“Unfortunately, Antoine Griezmann didn’t score today but he has to keep working. The first shot at the woodwork could have been done better. And the second chance too. He has created opportunities,” Ronald Koeman told the reporters after the away win against Juventus.
“The team showed a lot of spirit against a big team in Europe. I hope the internal affairs inside the club don’t affect the players,” the coach added.
Griezmann got to start against Juve after being left on the bench in the previous two matches. The Frenchman had a clear opportunity to score but messed it up. Antoine is yet to score his first goal under Koeman.
