How to prepare Vanilla pudding – This yummy goodness is one dessert that you will get addicted to, after the first taste. It is extremely easy to make and it will leave you longing for more.
- 2 ½ cups pf milk
- 2/3 cups of sugar
- ¼-teaspoon salt
- ¼-cup cornstarch
- 4 large egg (egg yolk)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 tablespoon of unsalted butter
How to prepare Vanilla pudding 1. In a saucepan, mix cornstarch, salt, sugar. Pour milk and stir gradually. Cook over medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture thickens and boils.
2. Add the egg yolks and stir in mixture (boil and stir for 1 minute). Stir in the vanilla and butter.
3. Pour pudding into dessert dish and place a plastic wrap directly on surface. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
NOTE: Before serving, whisk the pudding until smooth.
