Emeka Cephas, who just won N50 million from sports betting firm, Betway, has thanked the outfit for making his dream come true.Cephas, a Manchester United fan, collected his N50 million prize from BetWay yesterday in Lagos.

The estate agent won the N50 million after betting with N13, 000 on 10 different games played over the weekend.“I want to say thank you to Betway for fulfilling their promises. They have paid me to the last kobo. This is unlike my precious experience with another company, who still owe me.

“This is my biggest winning since I have been forecasting and I am happy to have received all my money,” an elated Cephas said.Speaking at the event, Betway’s Marketing Manager, Lere Awokoya, said this was the firm’s second biggest pay out, adding that somebody won N58 million in 2015.

Also speaking at the event, Deputy Director/Zonal Coordinator for National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Nkiru Onuzulu, congratulated the winner, while applauding Betway for always keeping to their promise.She affirmed that as a regulatory body, they had a responsibility to ensure that all operators fulfilled their obligations to stakeholders.
