  • Lukaku has been linked with a move to Italy.
  • United could let the Belgian leave if the right offer comes in.
  • The Red Devils are open to the possibility of not replacing the striker.

While United have pulled the plug on the Romelu Lukaku—Paulo Dybala swap deal with Juventus, the Belgian could still leave Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts down.

As per various reports, Serie A side Inter Milan remain interested in the striker and could make a new bid for Lukaku in the coming days.

And the latest report from Manchester Evening News suggests that the Red Devils are still looking to sell the Belgium international provided the right offer comes in.

United are even prepared for the possibility of not signing a replacement for Lukaku as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s has been impressed with Mason Greenwood’s development.

While the arrival of a new attacking player in case of the 26-year-old’s departure remains a possibility, Solskjaer would be content heading into the next season with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Greenwood as his no.9 options.
