Liverpool fans have a habit of accusing Man United of foul play – but this act from Salah is simply outrageous.
- Liverpool suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat against Manchester City on Sunday and the game was marred by certain actions from some of the Anfield men.
- In the second half, with the score at 1-1, Jurgen Klopp’s side were looking to play the ball out from the back:
- Jordan Henderson found Mohamed Salah in the middle of the pitch but the Egyptian opted to dive:
- Salah fell to the ground after comically throwing his hands up and lifting his legs and immediately started asking for a foul:
- One Manchester United fan, who goes by the name of buddyhollybenhur on Reddit, has perfectly summed up everyone’s frustrations: “My issue isn’t that he dives. Every team has players that fall to the ground at minimum to no contact. My issue is that a subsection of Liverpool fans have developed some holier than thou attitude about other teams getting favourable decisions from players who dive.”
