According to The Times (4 stars), Inter Miami are close to reaching an agreement with Lionel Messi over a free summer move as his PSG contract expires at the end of the season. The Argentine will become the best-paid player in the history of the MLS should he join the Floridian club.
RMC Sport’s reliable Fabrice Hawkins (5 stars) confirms that the 35-year-old has been in contact with David Beckham’s club. However, PSG will do everything possible to keep Messi.
Finally, Toni Juanmarti of Relevo (5 stars) says that Leo is more likely to continue in Paris than move to Inter Miami. Barcelona, who are interested in the forward’s return, are yet to get in contact with him.
