Barcelona manager Xavi has given his own picks for the best players at the World Cup so far.
He’s travelled to Qatar to see some of the games and spoke with FIFA about which players have impressed him the most.
The Spaniard named Brazil forward Richarlison as the ‘best finisher’ so far. He also named Pedri and Germany forward Jamal Musiala as the ‘most talented’ players so far.
Xavi also considers France defenders Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konate as the best centre-back pairing in the World Cup.
He’s also praised Jordi Alba as the best wing-back in the competition as well.
The Spaniard will be pleased to see his Barca players doing so well and will hope they retain this form after the World Cup break as well.
