Worrying news: 2 Cornella players test positive for Covid-19 next day after Barcelona clash

No Barca player has missed a match due to COVID-19 this season so far.

Two Cornella players have tested positive on Friday, January 22, the day after the Copa del Rey match against Barcelona, Diario Sport say.

Although the names are not revealed, it’s said that one of the footballers played the match while one remained on the bench for the whole game.

9The Catalans will have to undergo coronavirus tests ahead of the game against Elche which is planned for Sunday, January 24.
