'We talked about it': Aubameyang comments on Dembele's future

“Ousmane Dembele’s future? Yes, we’ve talked about it a bit. In the end, we’ll see what he decides. I’d like him to stay another year. Or more. I’m very happy with him,” Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said.

“He is doing very well. Since I arrived I have seen him train very well, with great enthusiasm. He is making many assists and playing very well. I did not doubt this, I have known him for many years.”

Dembele’s contract at Barcelona expires at the end of the season. Up until now, he’s been rejecting the extension offers from the club over salary disagreements. However, recent rumours claim that it’s not ruled out that Ousmane ends up staying.
