France Football haven’t included a single African player on their three Dream Team squads.
Samuel Eto’o is frustrated about it.
“We Africans do not exist,” Samuel Eto’o has tweeted in reply to the BBC reporter displaying all the three Ballon d’Or Dream Teams.
Indeed, one can find no African footballers among the 33 players presented in three line-ups. No Samuel Eto’o, no George Weah (an actual Ballon d’Or winner), no Didier Drogba, no one.
As a reminder, the award winners were selected by a jury of more than 140 journalists. Eto’o was on the preliminary list but failed to make one of the final squads.
