- They drew Real 2-2 at home earlier this term.
- Javier Calleja is eyeing a third consecutive victory for his side.
After losing 2-0 at Granada over the weekend, Barcelona host Villarreal in the La Liga gameweek 6 on Tuesday. The Yellow Submarine are yet to concede a single goal after their 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at El Madrigal on September 1:
- Leganes (A) – 0-3
- Valladolid (h) 2-0
Villarreal head coach Javier Calleja is eyeing another clean sheet at Camp Nou but also wants to ‘hurt’ Barca as they did against their bitter rivals from the Bernabeu.
“I’m hoping for a nice game for the spectators. We’ll both be looking to attack, we’ve scored a lot of goals at the start of this season and we’ll not give up,” he told the pre-match presser on Monday, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“We will try to keep a clean sheet like we’ve done in recent weeks and hurt Barcelona with our weapons.”
In the gameweek 7, Barcelona travel to Getafe on Saturday while Calleja’s men will take on Betis at home on Friday.
