After Saturday’s humiliation at Nuevo Los Carmenes, Ernesto Valverde has spoken up on the result and his personal attitude to Barca’s struggling form.

“We have to think about our game. At home, we are especially good. Away from home, we are especially bad.

“I’m concerned that away from home we’re not getting good results. It is a symptom that we are not very good. We’ve had injuries and things of this type, but we’re not right.

“I feel responsible, I always feel that way. You can win or lose, but when you lose you deserve to win, and today we didn’t deserve to win.”
