United score winner from penalty as Pogba tripped himself up, Mane didn’t get pen for worse foul in last game

United keep getting decisions and winning games, while Liverpool hardly get any in their favour.

Man United have just beaten Aston Villa through a controversial penalty [2-1]. Paul Pogba fell on the grass after contact with Douglas Luiz after which the ref pointed to a spot.

VAR did not overturn the decision even though the review clearly showed that it was the United midfielder who stumbled upon the leg of his counterpart with the Brazilian having no intention of clipping the Frenchman at all.

No if there was no contact in the box it by mean been a penalty. Defenders know at such minutes its wrong to tackle anyone in the 18yard box. Aston villa won the that game for us I thank them

A good sign for man utd. Liverpool got away with worst last season to win the title. If referees are giving man utd soft fouls this current season, its a sign that they might win the title. Every winner gets the central referees favours while others complain
