Speaking on talkSPORT radio, Watford captain Troy Deeney said: “Anthony Martial’s character will always be very dramatic – if he’s upset he’s going to show you that he’s upset.

“The guy is an unbelievable talent, you can’t deny that It’s about expectation. Everyone always talks about his £50 million price tag, but the guy still delivers.

“He is, in my opinion, in the top ten strikers of the Premier League, he gets into most teams. If you offered him now to Leicester City, they would take him, if you offered him to Arsenal, they would take him.”

Martial has scored just 2 goals in the Premier League for Manchester United so far this season and in-form Edinson Cavani currently appears to be ahead of the Frenchman in the pecking order.
