Chelsea stars were involved in a heated on-pitch confrontation as their miserable season continued at the Emirates Stadium on May 2.
Frank Lampard’s side were taken apart by a meticulous Arsenal, who scored three goals inside 34 minutes. This was Lampard’s sixth consecutive loss since making his return as Chelsea boss.

Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard scored twice with almost the same style as Granit Xhaka whipped in a cross from the left that twice evaded the Chelsea defence.
Odegaard was accorded a lot of space to pick either side of Kepa Arrizabalaga’s goal, with Thiago Silva having enough of it as soon as the second goal went in. The veteran defender confronted his left-back Ben Chilwell with marquee January acquisition Enzo Fernandez finding himself dragged into the argument as well as the Sun reports.
The Blues looked like a team in shambles, as they have for the majority of the season. Silva was seen wondering where to pass the ball a couple of times. Gabriel Jesus added a third one before Noni Madueke pulled one back by scoring his first goal for Chelsea.
Arsenal face Newcastle on Sunday as Chelsea entertain Bournemouth a day earlier, looking to get a lift-off as the season enters homestretch.
