Moyes praises the Norwegian for starting to create an exciting, young team at United.
But, the West Ham manager wants to let everyone know that Ole has been given more time than he received at Old Trafford.
When asked about his thoughts on the work Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing as Man United manager, David Moyes said: “Given the time that he’s been given, he’s started to mould together a really young, exciting team.
“They’ve had a couple of really good players come through their academy and brought in a couple of players to help their team also. I think they’re building a nice team and the time Ole’s been given to do that has helped.”
Solskjaer has been United boss for over 2 years now, while Moyes didn’t even last a whole year after coming in as Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor in 2013.
While the Scotsman is understandably frustrated with the way he was sacked, there really was no sign of any progression in the United side under him – unlike Ole, who has improved many players and done well to guide us to the Premier League title race this season!
