Marcos Alonso wants to join Barcelona while the Catalans would be happy to have him, a new report in Mundo Deportivo claims.

There is only one problem: Chelsea. The Blues have not replied to Barca’s request to hold talks over a transfer yet.

The Premier League side are said to be reluctant to let Alonso go, prompting the Spaniard’s agent to arrive in London to discuss his future with the Chelsea hierarchy.

Alonso is Barca’s priority for the left-back position but their patience is running out. If Chelsea take too much time to respond, the Catalan side would move on to other targets.
