Stoichkov: ‘Neymar would be a bomb inside the locker room’

Barcelona legend Hristo Stoichkov discusses the much-talked-about potential Neymar’s return in the interview with Univision. Apparently, the Bulgaria international is not particularly happy about this possibility. That’s what he says:

“Barcelona does not need Neymar. He has no place because there are already important players. There are Dembele, Griezmann, Suarez and Messi. Where is he going to play? He would be a bomb inside the locker room.”

Stoichkov finishes up: “For my part, I don’t want him to come back. Surely there is a group of players who want him to return and ask the president to make an effort but Barcelona will not move a single euro to return. They will not pay up to PSG.”

Stoichkov spent total of six years at the Camp Nou stadium: between 1990 and 1995, and during the 1996/1997 campaign. In 175 La Liga matches, he scored 83 goals, a significant figure.
