As reported by the Daily Mail, Southampton are planning to request that Mike Dean and Lee Mason are banned from officiating any of their upcoming games.
One may think it’s a bizarre move but to be fair, some decisions went against them as Manchester United won 9-0.
However, it’s not just the United loss that has prompted Southampton to take this step – they had to face some poor decisions even in the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa.
Against United, the Saints had a goal disallowed and Jan Bednarek was controversially sent off for a foul on Anthony Martial.
