Solskjaer hilariously explains why he’ll never watch cup draws as United manager ever again

The gaffer believes United being on top of the Premier League table shows our progression from last year.
Ole is a bit annoyed that his side are always matched against difficult opponents but believes the Red Devils must beat teams like Liverpool to win trophies.
When asked about how important it is for Man United to defeat teams like Liverpool to win silverware this season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Of course you want to get your hands on a first trophy, but it’s always the league position which is the measure of how far you’ve come.

“Anyone can have an easy cup run – I’m not one of those, I never get an easy cup run! I’m never going to watch another draw again, we always seem to pick out the difficult opponents!

“In a cup run you can sometimes get to a final without really playing any of the top ones. This time around we’re drawn with one of the favourites and we know this is a big one if you want to go all the way.”

United have never really received easy draws with Ole as a manager, but we need to defeat the top teams if we want to win trophies this season. With the Liverpool side vulnerable after their recent loss to Burnley, the Red Devils will be looking to pound more misery upon them with a dominant win on Sunday.
