Bailly started against Fulham on Wednesday.
Solskjaer suggest there’s an issue with the defender’s fitness.
Speaking to MUTV before the kick-off at Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Eric Bailly is fine. Just a little bit of…. He will be fine for midweek. It’s just in these times you don’t want to take risks at all.
“Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek impress every day in training anyway. Of course they work hard to get their opportunity in a game. It’s a big game against the best team in England the past few seasons.”
Bailly started for Manchester United in the 2-1 win against Fulham on Wednesday after sitting out the goalless draw at Liverpool last Sunday.
