The teenager was given a few minutes to impress against Steve Bruce’s side.
Shola Shoretire became the seventh-youngest player to represent Man United at a professional level after making his debut against Newcastle United.
The 17-year-old is also only behind Angel Gomes as the second-youngest debutant for United in the Premier League era.
Shoretire also managed another impressive feat when he donned the #74 shirt against Newcastle, the highest squad number ever won by a United star in a competitive game.
The teenage sensation is currently training with the first-team squad and will hope to get more opportunities as well as possibly make his full debut for the Red Devils in the next few months.
