Emre Ozturk is now in Barcelona to negotiate the centre-back’s move to Camp Nou.
“I’m not in Barcelona because of Yusuf Demir, but because of Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal, whom we also represent,” the centre-back’s agent Emre Ozturk told SPOX when asked about a recent post on Instagram in which he was pictured at Camp Nou.
As Man City aren’t willing to sell Eric Garcia in January, the Catalans are reportedly keen on signing Mustafi in the upcoming transfer window.
What’s more, Ozturk captioned his social media post “ready for meeting” which means that Barca are indeed interested in his client.
The German defender is out of contract next summer. He’s made just two Premier League appearances this season so the Gunners would probably be open to his departure in midseason.
