Sheffield Utd goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale reveals how Rashford’s lovely gesture in December impressed him

The Man United No.10 scored two goals past Ramsdale in his side’s 3-2 win over the Blades last month.
The Sheffield Utd goalkeeper says while he doesn’t know Rashford well, the striker still had the humility to ask about his family after the game.
Speaking about how he was impressed by Marcus Rashford’s actions after Sheffield United’s game against Man United in December, Aaron Ramsdale told the Yorkshire Post: “With the game against Man United in December, me and Marcus had a conversation at the end and spoke about my family and his and what he is doing for the country.

“To be honest, me and Marcus do not know each other too well, so for him to ask about my mum and dad was a lovely gesture and one you can take something from even though he is an opponent – and he scored two past me.

“His humility shone through.”

This is just another example of how much of a gentleman Rashford is off-the-pitch. However, on the pitch, he has been a nightmare for Sheffield Utd over the last few years and contributed 6 goals in 3 appearances against them in recent meetings.
