The young American describes Barca as the club of his dreams.
He realized the Catalans had a good plan in place special for him and opted for this move.
“Why Barcelona and not Bayern? It wasn’t easy, but Barcelona are the club of my dreams. That’s why I chose them,” Sergino Dest told AP, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
He added some details: “I saw possibilities, they had brought in new players. Koeman also personally wanted me, so I thought they’d have a good plan in place for me.”
The 20-year-old full-back joined Barca this autumn for €21million. So far this season, he has scored once in 10 appearances.
