  • It is not the first time La Liga players get their houses robbed in broad daylight.

According to Cadena SER. robbers entered Nelson Semedo’s house at 14:00 CET. At that time, the right-back was at the Hotel Sofia, where the whole squad met ahead of the clash against Real Madrid.

It was a forced entry, the same source claims. Reportedly, they stole watches, jewellery and other valuable items. It isn’t known whether Semedo’s partner Marlene Alvarenga and his two children were at home.

The Portuguese isn’t the first player to find himself in this situation. According to Catalan-based outlet Diario Sport, Samuel Umtiti got his house robbed during the Barcelona-Valencia game earlier this season. The defender watched the game from the stands while the criminals entered the pitch and took everything from the safe inside his house.
