Griezmann scored in Barca’s back-to-back victories over Dynamo and Osasuna last week.
Koeman has praised the Frenchman following the latest La Liga win.
“He looked good today. From his position, given freedom … he got an assist and scored a great goal … he’s the player we want, one who fights, works hard and is effective,” Ronald Koeman said of Antoine Griezmann after Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday, as quoted by Marca.
“He hasn’t changed, he’s always given his all. But perhaps due to his movement, today he had more space. The goal gives him confidence.”
Following a rather poor start to the 2020/21 season, the Frenchman has managed to improve his form lately. The 29-year-old scored once in each of Barca’s latest 4-0 victories against Dynamo Kyiv and Osasuna.
