Cristiano Ronaldo has finally opened up about his thoughts on Russia starting a military invasion of Ukraine.

He wrote on Instagram: “We need to create a better world for our children. Praying for peace in our world.”

Man United have already made their stance clear on Russia’s transgressions against Ukraine, ending their £40m-a-year sponsorship deal with the Russian airline Aeroflot.
