Roman Abramovich suffers symptoms of suspected poisoning during peace negotiations

Roman Abramovich and other negotiators of peace for Ukraine had developed symptoms of suspected poisoning after their talks in Kyiv earlier this month, as per The Wall Street Journal.
Roman and two other senior members of the Ukrainian team developed symptoms of poisoning such as red eyes, constant and painful tearing, and peeling skin on their faces and hands.

The suspected attack has been blamed on Russian hardliners in Moscow who want to dissolve the talks to end the war against Ukraine.

All the affected members’ condition has now improved and are all out of danger.

Back in 2020, Alexei Navalny, a Russian opposition leader, was poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent which has been known to be a KGB favourite since the Soviet Union era. Navalny was saved and recovered from the assassination attempt, unlike many of Putin’s other critics who have not been so lucky.

Russia is still destroying Ukrainian cities and killing civilians including kids with all the weapons imaginable. We strongly condemn Putin’s genocide and acts of terror against Ukraine.
