“This is my first goal at Camp Nou and this is one of the best moments of my life. I never had this chance before, and I will celebrate with my family and friends,” Riqui Puig said after the Osasuna game.
“I am very happy, I think the team is very happy. We are going in the right direction and playing the game in the way we want to.
“It is true that my situation was difficult, but I am very happy with my game today, and I will keep working. I want to thank Xavi and the staff, they see how seriously I train. I also thank the fans and my teammates.”
Against Osasuna, Riqui got to feature for around 20 minutes, which was enough for him to score a goal and leave a positive overall impression.
This term so far, Puig has played 373 minutes across 14 games for Barcelona, scoring a goal. It’s said that he could be open to a summer departure.
