Reece James has exposed one Instagram user who sent him nasty messages containing racial insults.
He posted a screenshot of these messages, adding a caption reading: ‘Something needs to change!’
This comes just days after Man United players Anthony Martial and Axel Tuanzebe were subjected to racial abuse as well.
Last year, Tammy Abraham was another Chelsea player to face this problem – and it does not appear to go away.
Anti-racism group Kick It Out has condemned the abuse and vowed to work with social media companies to hold those responsible to account.
