In 2013, Lionel Messi was so angry with his rude and noisy neighbours, he decided to buy their house, according to his former Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic.
“I did not have any problems with the neighbours, not like Messi in Castelldefels,” Rakitic told Spanish outlet Diario Gol.

“He had to buy his house from the neighbours because they were noisy and so he could be alone.”

It was reported that Messi tried to build a wall to cut off the annoying noise from his next door neighbours, but was prevented by regulation. He then opted to buy the house, as the owners who rented it out were cash-strapped.
