Pedri has been included in UEFA’s Breakthrough Team of the Year which includes all players under the age of 24 who have made their debut in the Champions League.

Here’s how UEFA’s editors explained their pick: “Attacking midfielder became one of this competition’s ten youngest-ever scorers when he struck on his debut in October, having recently arrived from Las Palmas.”

The 18-year-old Barca gem has scored 1 goal in 5 Champions League games.
