“I am very happy to have helped the team,” Pedri has told the media after the 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.
“It was a very important game for us, it was important to secure the 3 points. We arrived at the game very excited. I think the team played very well today, and the results will come if we continue to play like this.
“The substitution wasn’t due to the blow. If I were to decide, I’d play until the end despite the blow,” the teenager added.
Pedri was a standout performer in the Real Sociedad game. The 18-year-old was active at creating chances and helped a lot at the back, especially when he sacrificed his health to produce an epic clearance.
